Darren R. Hojnacki,
author of Surrendering to Jesus: A Follower’s Guide (publication forthcoming in 2021), grew up in southeast Michigan and northwest Ohio. Looking back, throughout his life at this time he had followers of Christ around him, though he did not consistently attend church. He accepted Jesus while at summer camp as a child. But, as with many, he strayed away through his teen and college years. However, as an adult—years later—he rededicated his life and was baptized.
Darren graduated with a B.S. in Physics from the University of Toledo, and then pursued Florida State University’s master’s program in socio-cultural anthropology, where he had the opportunity to go to Mumbai, India in May 2001. Ultimately, however, he obtained his J.D. from New England School of Law (now known as New England Law) in Boston. He practiced bankruptcy law for over a decade in the metro-Atlanta area prior to relocating to Anchorage, Alaska.
Darren has led small groups in the study of the Bible and in Apologetics and has been an active voice for the persecuted Church.
