JULIE HOJNACKI

is author of the action and adventure/fantasy book The Unlocking: Eternal Tree Rising, the first middle-grade novel in The Unlocking Series, loved by people of all ages. She has also authored a 22-week inductive Bible study of the Book of Revelation, and co-authored a 21-week inductive Bible study of the Gospel of John (publications forthcoming in 2023).

The youngest of four, Julie was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska by her blonde-hair, blue-eyed mother from Missouri and her energetic Chinese father from Hong Kong, who came to America when he was eighteen.

Julie spent a few decades living in New Orleans, Boston, and Atlanta, until she returned to her hometown of Anchorage, where she lives today with her husband Darren and two kids.

Julie picked up a B.A. in International Relations and a J.D. while living in Boston and is a licensed attorney in Alaska and Georgia.

Julie’s foremost passion is to bring the good news of Jesus to the world and to equip people to fulfill their God-given purpose in life. Julie loves to travel and meet people from all over the world.

Julie has several years of experience as a Bible teacher, helping both children and adults understand and apply the Word to their daily lives.
